Hose couplings with the Kamlock coupling system

The Kamlock coupling is the most commonly used coupling system. The locking system of the popular Kamlock hose couplings is very simple and works quickly via a lever arm. For your quick coupling, you only need a Kamlock male part and a female part of the same inner diameter size.
This measurement is labeled as B in the technical drawings on the products. Quick couplings with an internal or external thread have the European BSP G pipe thread. This makes them compatible with all fittings with the BSP G thread.
Camlock couplings have their origin in the US military. Therefore, the standard for stainless steel Camlock couplings is based on the US military standard and all Camlock quick couplings are standardized according to MIL-C-27487. Stainless steel Camlock couplings can be used in a variety of different areas, such as industry, private households or agriculture

Kamlock couplings made of V4A stainless steel (AISI 316)

Stainless steel (according to EN 10020) is a term for alloyed or unalloyed steels with a special degree of purity, whose sulfur and phosphorus content (so-called iron companions) does not exceed 0.025%.
Alloy 316 is a standard steel grade with molybdenum. The molybdenum gives alloy 316 better corrosion resistance than 304, in particular greater resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion in chloride-containing media. The austenitic structure gives this alloy a high degree of toughness, even at very low temperatures, high creep strength, high stress-rupture strength and tensile strength at elevated temperatures. The alloy is commonly known as V4A stainless steel.
