Water filter cartridge filters are indispensable in the field of filtration and water treatment. Specially designed for plumbing installations, we offer you the connection sizes you need for this, with 1/2" - 1" female thread brass connections.
You have the option of individually assembling your water filter cartridge filter in our webshop PVC-Welt.de to achieve the optimal filtration for you.
Please note the fineness of the filter inserts, as a water filter cartridge filter is not designed to filter out coarse sand, stones or even as a filter for mud and algae in a fish pond, as the mesh size is too narrow for this. Even the filter insert with polyester gauze 100µ is too fine for this
Ideally suited for use with a well pump (60µ or 100µ) or in the household with a mesh filter cartridge to filter out dust, sand or mud particles that could clog the fine filter.
Braided nylon sediment filters with ratings of 20µ, 10µ and 5µ reliably filter out ultra-fine particles, sediments, dust, sand, rust, algae and other suspended particles.
The activated carbon filter cartridge filters out ozone, pesticides, rust, lime, chlorine and reduces the concentration of heavy metals such as lead and copper. It also reduces the discoloration of water caused by high iron content and the introduction of odors.
We recommend combining the polyester gauze 60µ filter insert with the following 20µ braided nylon filter insert. For an excellent degree of purity without being affected by the smallest suspended particles, a customer who runs an espresso bar swears by the triple combination of polyester gauze 60my, nylon braided 20my and activated carbon granulate filter 5my, which is installed directly in front of his espresso machine.
