The difference between transparent and crystal clear
PVC-U pipe and fittings in a transparent version is not comparable to Plexiglas pipe!
A transparent PVC-U pipe has all the properties of a standard PVC-U pipe in gray, such as high resistance to acids and alkalis, compressive strength as stated, and can be glued in the same way as a conventional PVC-U pipe. For this reason, the transparent PVC-U pipe cannot be crystal clear, but rather transparent with a slight bluish or reddish tint, depending on the manufacturer and the raw material used. Our transparent PVC-U pipes have a bluish shimmer because the transparent fittings we offer are also slightly bluish, thus harmonizing in terms of "color".
