PVC-U Adhesive cap
The PVC-U adhesive cap is used to seal the end of a PVC-U pipe or the end of a fitting socket. A PVC-U pipe with an external dimension of 50mm is sealed with a 50mm adhesive cap.
Since PVC-U pipes of different quality levels have different wall thicknesses and the wall thickness always "grows" inwards, a pipe can only be closed from the outside.
The flat design adhesive cap offers many other possible uses beyond just pipe construction

The end cap with internal thread and internal flat seal for secure sealing of a flat-sealing external thread.
The PVC end cap, screw cap, threaded cap, plastic cap with internal thread from 3/8 inch to 4 inch size for a maximum pressure load of up to PN 10 bar.
The Whitworth pipe thread, which is commonly used in the plumbing industry, is also available from PVC-Welt.de in the form of PVC threaded caps. The cap seals by means of the internal flat gasket, so there is no need for additional sealing with Teflon tape or similar. The internal flat gasket is made of EPDM (not suitable for oils).

PVC-U locknut, counter nut, internal thread
The locknut, also known as a counter nut, is used to secure a counter nut fitting with an external thread to an intermediate wall, for example. Here, it is important to ensure that the external thread offers a sufficient contact surface so that a PVC-U nut can be used to lock it without causing damage or the like.
A locknut or counter nut has a BSP G (gas) Whitworth pipe thread. Our locknut is also used on our tank connectors – high-quality, heavy, sturdy quality in PVC.
The open union nut can be used purely for flat-sealing applications, e.g. with a flat seal and a PE ring placed directly in front of the locknut. This PE ring ensures that the counter pressure is evenly distributed during the counter-rotating movement.
